Today I would like to talk about something which everyone will relate to. One always have some clothes which we feel are cheap or regular and would like to turn into fantastic chic outfit.
Here I will give some choices for beautiful combinations which can bring out the elegance equation of the outfit.
1. Fitted garments
This is the first step to make the clothes look expensive? Make sure that everything fits impeccably. If you find it difficult to find clothes that fit you correctly, one should consider finding a tailor. Many minor alterations, replacing closing seams or contrasting seams with hidden seams will make the a major difference in the way your clothes fit.
Also some alterations which can be like cinching a dress, knotting a button down shirt or an over sized tee.
2. Change the buttons
Ditch those basic plastic buttons in favor of something more beautiful metal, or mother of pearl. Maybe either from old clothes, or buy it from online stores. If you are unable to switch it yourself then most of the dry cleaners will do it for few bucks.
Another tip, is that you can use these beautiful buttons as a decoration too. Maybe stitch it up to a skirt, sweater or bag.
3. Use Belts
There are dresses or jump suits which have a low quality belts attached to them. You can replace those belts with some classic belts.
Also, when layering the outfits, you can belt the outer layer of the outfit for example a cardigan with a belt which will accentuate your waist and bring out the elegance of an outfit.
4. Accessorize
Once you have well maintained clothes and clothes that fit well, the next step is accessories which are just as important. Plus, you’ll get lots more wears out of the perfect bag, a great pair of shoes, or a stylish pair of sunglasses than you would any single piece of clothing.
Also, right jewelry can elevate an ensemble. Choose some statement classic pieces, and its important to choose quality over quantity.
5. Mix and match
So, now that you know these steps, the real secret lies to choose and mix beautiful, classic or maybe say expensive things with a modest ones.
If you do it by applying these tricks, then no one will suspect and differentiate between a cheap garment.
